Despite its enormous size by eastern state standards, PA hasn't caught much of my driving affection. That could well be because most of what I know of it is that boring and potholed interstate that runs along its length (I80). I have no doubt that this state's gems lie off the beaten track... known but to the locals and a few hardcore enthusiasts who are guarding their locations zealously.

With the Mt. Washington auto road.. make sure you take the time to rest the brakes! Took my Dodge Durango up there (amazing view on a clear day!) but almost rear-ended an Audi when the brakes nearly failed from overheating.
